A holiday between the lake and the mountains
In Zell am See, you will spend your Austrian holiday in a central location. Many of our holiday apartments are located directly in the town centre or on the shore of the lake. A relaxing holiday in Zell am See
Many opportunities during your holiday stay in Zell am See are yours for the taking at this ideal location amid mountains, lakes and glaciers. Numerous hiking trails and cycling tours start directly in the town centre and the ski slopes in the surrounding area are among the best in the Alps. In summer, you can be on the mountain from the lake in just a few minutes! On top of that, a wide range of water sports are on offer at Lake Zell.
Knowing you will have the most beautiful view of the lake, the mountains and the old town directly from the water is worth knowing. So a trip on one of the boats is definitely worthwhile and not to be missed. Four boats are available for trips on the lake. Conveniently, you can get on and off at several points, making for a leisurely cruise around the lake at your own pace.
It goes without saying that you can also swim in Lake Zell! That’s why there are three lidos located around the lake. You can also go water skiing or learn to surf here – your holiday, your choice.
