About us

Behind Steinbock Lodges is a small but very effective and efficient team. Reini and Marlene lie at the heart of Steinbock Lodges, who have successfully run our holiday accommodation management agency for years.

Reini is our “go-to” man for everything. He is always on hand when repairs are needed. As a great multitasker, he also takes care of the laundry, holiday apartment equipment and furnishing, as well as the cleaning team. Marlene’s domain is the back office. Marlene is primarily responsible for bookings, information and figures. She always has an open ear when it comes to the wishes of our guests.

Our office assistant, Tatiana, compliments our small team. We can’t forget our cleaning fairies, Jadranka, Michi, Claudia, Edi and Alma, who ensure our apartments and chalets are spotlessly clean daily.

Reini and Marlene are native Pinzgauers. They founded Steinbock Lodges many years ago to relieve owners of holiday homes and apartments in the region of the burden of work renting out holiday accommodation with the complete service they offer. Thus, Steinbock Lodges does not provide its own holiday accommodation but the whole team looks after the lodges and our guests on behalf of the holiday accommodation owners.

Why Steinbock Lodges?

The alpine ibex or steinbock (in German) climbs to a height of 3,500 metres in the mountains. In winter, steinbock feel more comfortable at lower altitudes than in summer. Just like the alpine steinbock, we come from the region and are closely connected to the area. We are dedicated and authentic and love working with our close-knit team of permanent employees. This is how we are always able to maintain our high-quality standards. All our employees conscientiously undertake their work. This is how we aim to make our guests feel right at home.

Our apartments and chalets are all fully equipped. You can, of course, look forward to freshly made beds and fresh towels. In addition, all our accommodation facilities have free Wi-Fi. The kitchens are not only equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils but also with a Nespresso coffee machine and a filter coffee machine.

The holiday regions around Zell am See and Kaprun are considered very child-friendly. So, there is no need for concern as children are naturally most welcome here! We are happy to provide you with a cot, baby linen and towels for a small fee. We don’t want to leave out pets. You’ll be pleased to know that dogs are also permitted in some of our accommodation facilities on request.

It will be a pleasure for us to accommodate any requests you may have and we are very flexible with many requests – whether you need an extra pillow or prefer to check-in early. We also look forward to giving you one or two “insider tips” for a restaurant in the area or a unique excursion destination.

We are available for our guests in person and can be reached by phone, email or WhatsApp. We usually respond within minutes or a few hours, usually quicker during the day, so there is no need to be concerned about anything as we are on hand.
