The Lodge Adlerhorst, uniquely situated at 1500m altitude, is a dreamlike chalet (semi-detached house) with green space, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, open-plan living room with kitchen and dining area, and a pellet stove amidst beautiful nature in the Hohe Tauern National Park. The bedrooms feature double beds, and the master bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with bathtub and toilet. The second bathroom is equipped with a modern, level-access shower.

When you arrive at your chalet tired but happy after fun in the mountains, you can look forward to a cosy evening in front of the warm pellet stove and plan the next day's adventures. The chalet with stunning lake views is located in the midst of the magnificent alpine mountain scenery of the Stubach Valley. On the furnished terrace you can spend relaxed afternoons, and between May and October the shared barbecue area invites you to grill with the whole family. The Weißsee Gletscherwelt cable car is only 500 metres away and easily accessible on foot.

Everything you need for full enjoyment:
• 2 spacious bedrooms with double bed, pull-out double bed & pull-out sofa bed in the living room
• 2 bathrooms (with shower & bath), 1 guest toilet
• Fully equipped modern kitchen with 3-ring ceramic hob including oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment, coffee machine (Nespresso + filter), kettle, wooden table for 6 people
• Living room with pellet stove for cosy evenings (pellets provided free of charge), Smart TV

Your arrival:
The mountain road to Enzingerboden is asphalted and is cleared very well in winter, however snow chains or all-wheel drive may be required. The nearest supermarket and doctor's surgery are located in the town centre of Uttendorf, 17 km away.

From September 2020 until expected 2025, there may be disruptions from a construction site 600 m away. A tunnel will be built here from 2020 until approximately early 2022 and subsequently (2021 to 2025) a hydroelectric power station will be erected in the mountain. We ask for your understanding and can promise you that you will still be able to enjoy the wonderful mountain world around the Weißsee Glacier.

Leisure activities:
The lake here is a reservoir; the water is used for electricity production and therefore unfortunately swimming is not permitted in the lake. For swimming, however, we recommend the lovely and well-maintained bathing lake in the valley. There you can relax wonderfully; tennis courts, SUP rental, slide, children's area and a bouldering course invite you to take part in sporting activities.

The very family-friendly "Weißsee Gletscherwelt" is a great ski area with excellent ski routes, not overcrowded and lift passes are available at reasonable prices. Children up to 12 years old ski free (summer and winter). With your guest card, which you simply present at the till, you will enjoy a further discount of 20 %.

Lodge Kleiner Bär 191 is an idyllic chalet (terraced house) with green space and breathtaking glacier views, 2 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with shower, open-plan living room with kitchen-dining area and pellet stove. The bedrooms feature double beds, and the master bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC. The second bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower.

However, Enzingerboden is easily accessible via the mountain road. Uttendorf is connected to the Pinzgau local railway, so you can simply leave your car behind during excursions and reach many attractions in the surrounding area, such as Europe's largest waterfalls, the Krimml Waterfalls, by train.

Not far from Tauerndorf is the popular skiing and hiking area "Weißsee Gletscherwelt". Here, skiers, snowboarders, snowshoe hikers, freeriders and ski tourers will find excellent conditions.
