Directly at your apartment you will find a practical storage facility for bicycles. In winter, you can dry your ski boots and clothing after your adventure on the slopes in the ski room with the useful ski boot dryer. An absolute insider tip is the local bakery, which is only 100m away and supplies you with bread and delicacies. Try the best nut snails far and wide!

Location:
Uttendorf, in the heart of the Hohe Tauern, surprises with a really beautiful town centre. The location is very central as Uttendorf lies between the Grossglockner and the Krimml Waterfalls. Between mountains, lakes and glaciers, you will experience a wonderful holiday here. Active holidaymakers will enjoy extensive cycling tours or long hikes. In addition, there are some attractions such as the Butterfly Trail Uttendorf or the Celtic Village at Stoanabichl. The nearby Stubach Valley is perfect for hiking and cycling. Among locals, the area is simply called Paradise.

Leisure activities:
The very family-friendly "Weißsee Gletscherwelt" is a hidden gem in our region. The ski area is not too large, pleasantly busy and lift passes are available at reasonable prices. Children up to 12 years old ski free of charge. With your guest card, which you simply present at the till, you will enjoy a further discount of 20%. You will receive the guest card directly from Steinbock Lodges.

Just around the corner there are other well-known ski areas such as Neukirchen / Bramberg, Gerlos and Zillertal or Kitzski (Kitzbühel Arena with its 283 kilometres of pistes).

For tobogganing enthusiasts, there is the 14-kilometre natural toboggan run at Bramberg am Wildkogel, the longest illuminated toboggan run in the world! An absolute highlight for everyone!

But the area around Uttendorf is not only a popular destination during the winter season, but promises panoramic views, variety and culinary delights all year round. During the summer season, a national park ranger will take you free of charge into an unspoilt mountain landscape and show you beautiful places in untouched nature. Take the lift up to the mountain station and stroll around the three lakes Grünsee, Weißsee and Tauernmoossee. Sports enthusiasts enjoy their holiday hiking, running, climbing, horse riding, paragliding, rafting, canyoning and archery.

The Profelt B apartment is located on the ground floor (one flight of stairs down) and offers space for a total of 4 people in comfortable beds (no sofa bed). Upon entering the apartment, you can immediately store your ski and sports clothing in the spacious hallway. The corridor leads to the first bedroom on the far right with a bunk bed. Next comes a bathroom with shower and sink as well as a separate toilet.

On the left side, you enter the second bedroom with a double bed. The spacious living room with the well-equipped kitchen really makes you want to cook with friends and family. From here you have access to the south-facing terrace and further to the communal garden with the overwhelming view of the mighty mountains and into the Stubach Valley. Uttendorf is a small, family-friendly municipality in the Hohe Tauern National Park in Salzburg Land. The surroundings between mountains, lakes and glaciers are ideal for a wonderful holiday with the whole family and have much to offer in both summer and winter. Let's go climbing in the exciting boulder park. Extensive tours by mountain bike through the beautiful mountain landscapes are just as possible as hikes through the pristine Hohe Tauern nature reserve. In the Stubach Valley, you can also expect picturesque gorges and stunning waterfalls. On guided hikes or on one of the themed trails such as the butterfly educational trail, you can learn a lot about the local nature and the region.

The picturesque ski resort "Weißsee Gletscherwelt" is considered very family-friendly. Children under 12 years old naturally get a free ski pass. In addition to skiing, cross-country skiing, sledging or ice skating are also possible in the region (tip: the world's longest illuminated toboggan run is located in Bramberg am Wildkogel, only 20 minutes by car!).
